Child Safety Standards
Last updated 6 October 2026
RoundAbout runs private clubs for music, films, television and books, on the website at roundabout.live and in the RoundAbout app for Android and iPhone. This page sets out our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), how to report it, and what we do when we find it.
Zero tolerance. RoundAbout prohibits any content or behaviour that sexually exploits or endangers children. We remove it, ban the accounts involved, and report it to the authorities.
1. What is prohibited
On RoundAbout you may not post, share, request or link to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any image, video, drawing, text or other content that depicts or sexualises a minor, including content that is computer-generated.
- Content that sexualises children, or sexual comments about a minor.
- Grooming: contacting or messaging a child with the aim of sexual contact or exploitation, or attempting to move a child to another service for that purpose.
- Sextortion, or threats to share intimate images of a minor.
- Trafficking or any offer to buy, sell or exchange access to a child.
- Anything that promotes, normalises or instructs others in the abuse of children.
These rules apply everywhere on RoundAbout: club chat, the forum, reviews, direct messages, profiles, club names and images.
2. Who can use RoundAbout
You must be at least 13 years old to have an account, as our Terms say. Clubs are private and invite-only, and every member can block anyone at any time.
3. How to report
- In the app or on the website: open the menu on any message, post, review, profile or club, choose Report, and pick Sexual content involving a minor. You can block the person in the same step.
- By email: report@roundabout.live. You don't need an account to report.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first. In the United States you can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline.
4. What we do with a report
- Every report goes straight to our moderation inbox, and child safety reports are reviewed first.
- We remove CSAM and other content that breaks these standards as soon as we confirm it.
- We permanently ban the accounts responsible.
- We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline, as US law requires, and we preserve the relevant records for law enforcement.
- We cooperate with valid requests from law enforcement.
5. Compliance with the law
RoundAbout complies with child safety laws that apply to us, including the United States federal reporting requirements for child sexual abuse material (18 U.S.C. § 2258A).
6. Child safety contact
Questions about these standards, or about how RoundAbout prevents child sexual abuse and exploitation, can go to our child safety point of contact at report@roundabout.live.
