Delete your account

You can delete your RoundAbout account at any time. It's immediate, there's no waiting period, and you don't need to contact anyone.

In the app or on the website

1. Sign in to RoundAbout.
2. In the app, open the ☰ menu and tap Edit Profile / Settings. On the website, open Settings (the gear icon, or your profile menu ▸ Edit Profile).
3. Go to the Account tab and choose Delete your account.
4. Confirm with your password — or, if you sign in with Google or Apple, by typing your username.

Can't sign in? Request deletion by email

Enter the email address on your account. We'll send a one-time link to that address; open it and confirm to delete the account. The link lasts 24 hours.

No longer have access to that email address? Write to privacy@roundabout.live from any address and tell us which account you mean — we'll verify it's yours before deleting anything.

What gets deleted

• Your profile: username, name, photo, bio and favourites.
• Your uploads and your direct messages (both sides of every conversation).
• Your queue, watchlists, backlog, bookshelf and imported film history.
• Friends, blocks and notifications, and the devices registered for notifications.
• Links to Google, Apple and Spotify — including revoking our Apple sign-in access.

What we keep, and why

• Posts in club conversations stay in that club's history, shown as from a deleted account, because removing them would tear holes in other members' conversations.
• Reports you made about other members stay, with your name removed, so a moderation case isn't lost.

Deletion happens straight away; nothing is held back for a waiting period. Our Privacy Policy has the full detail.
